Meet Terri Atwood

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Terri is experienced in working with couples facing a crisis in their marriage. Her expertise is also beneficial for couples and individuals seeking pre-marital counseling, relationship issues, family problems, issues specific to women, grief and other concerns in coping with what life presents.

With a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Terri serves as an Adjunct Professor for Graduate Counseling in the Psychology Department at David Lipscomb University in Nashville Tennessee.  She has served on the LifeWay Event Team as a Therapist for conferences featuring Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and Priscilla Shirer. She is also licensed as a Mental Health Service Provider and, as such, can diagnose and treat mental and personality disorders, trauma, post traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorders, anxiety and depression.

Drawing upon her personal life struggles and pain, Terri’s strong compassion and empathy give hope to others in need of physical, spiritual and emotional healing.
