I have a simple question but I'm struggling to find the answer  Pondering

From a moral perspective how soon is it reasonable to get engaged after a divorce? First of all let me give you some background. My partner and I are both 47 years old. We separated from our previous spouses back in late 2009. My current partner and I moved in together in January 2010 and are extremely happy. My partners divorce came through last month and mine is due any day now. Both divorces have been amicable and we both have children from those marriages, aged between 24 and 16, who all get on extremely well.

Is it too soon to get engaged?

Any advice would be gratefully received, thanks.
